SUSTAINABILITY

Thanks to David Attenborough’s amazing Blue Planet we all got a wake-up call, but before that TBS were already leading the way. We have never used a plastic straw for your drink nor a plastic bag for your takeaway. From the beginning we have only used compostable or recyclable materials. We’re proud of this. We only have one planet – let’s look after it!

At H G Walter, we value tradition, simplicity, and quality. Established in 1972 our independent family-run business has dedicated years to perfecting tradition methods of meat preparation: to do things in the proper way, properly.
“We source meat from small, passionate British farmers rearing free-range native breeds such as Hereford and Aberdeen Angus. This ensures both quality and a unique and diverse range of breeds to stock on our shelves. Each animal we use is hand-picked by our experts for its marbling and fat covering; a process which helps achieve consistently high quality produce all year round.”
We pride ourselves on having the best beef in the UK, intensifying its natural flavour, by dry ageing for a minimum of 28 days and up to 90 days in our custom-made Himalayan salt room.

Founded in 2003 by Pierre Koffmann protégé and former Michelin-starred chef Paul Rhodes, Paul Rhodes Bakery is one of the leading independent bakeries in London, specialising in handcrafted breads and pastries, all made using the finest ingredients and traditional techniques.
Our business is constantly evolving and we are always looking at new ways of working. A ‘back to basics’ approach is now driving our business forward, ensuring an even greater emphasis on provenance and true artisanal production – as well as allowing us to help sustain independent UK farmers. We meet regularly with farmers and millers to ensure our products are not only as natural and sustainably sourced as possible – but also the very best tasting we can find.
